University education at least in a master's degree program, if obtainable, otherwise the highest possible education attainable. Furthermore, passing a special state language exam for the field of interpretation and translation, if the subject of higher education was not the study of the language for which the person applies to be registered in the list of interpreters and translators, or if the person is a person whose mother tongue is the given language. Furthermore, completion of an additional study for interpreters and translators in the field of law at a university with a master's degree program in law and jurisprudence. Also obtaining another certificate of professional competence focused on the given language or completing a qualified accreditation course focused on the given language, if this is necessary to carry out translation activities with professional care.
