Training course completed by obtaining a certificate of professional competence for persons involved in slaughtering operations in a slaughterhouse (without requiring practice) or fulfillment of one of the requirements laid down in Section 5a (1) of Act No. 246/1992 on the Protection of Animals Against Torture . a) secondary education with an apprenticeship certificate in the field of butcher, (b) secondary education with a maturita examination in the field of food technology, (c) secondary education with a maturita examination in the field of veterinary medicine or higher vocational education in the veterinary field, or (d) higher education at a higher education institution carrying out study programs in the field of veterinary medicine and hygiene or in the field of agriculture with a focus on the veterinary field.
