anotace
Non-medical healthcare professional who performs activities related to radiation protection according to the special legal regulation, namely assistance provided to radiological physicists; if a radiological technician carries out specified activities which are extremely important as regards radiation protection, he/she must meet special requirements laid down by the special legal regulation. In addition, a radiological technician, in cooperation with a doctor, shall participate in treatment and diagnostic care.

Professional qualifications for pursuing the profession of radiological technician shall be acquired by completing a) an accredited health bachelor's study for the preparation of radiological technicians, or b) an accredited bachelor's study in mathematics and physics and an accredited qualification course in radiological technology.
The professional competence to practice the profession of radiological technician shall also be granted to a health professional who has acquired professional competence to practice the profession of radiological engineer according to Section 25.
