Regulated professions based on the requirement for qualifications set in § 16 of Act No. 219/2003 Coll. on the marketing of seeds and planting material of cultivated plants. Planting material is an essential element of crop production depends on the quality of future harvests. Activity is the production of planting material, marketing of propagating material and planting material balance.

1) Secondary eduacation (gardener or relative field with leaving exam) 2) University degree in agriculture 3) A written statement of representing the person who demonstrates competence in accordance with point 1), 2). Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture may grant applicants with another focus of his secondary education after completion of theoretical and practical training.
